Co-op
A chore app that pays more for the chores your partner hates.
We split up chores based on who hates them most, so each of us does what the other person hates more. Co-op is a to-do app built to reward that. Everyone in the house rates how much they hate each task, and finishing one earns points based on the gap between your rating and the person who hates it most. Doing the chore your partner dreads is worth more than doing your own.
Right now it is more idea than app. Pairing works, tasks and hate ratings work, but the points loop — the whole reason it exists — isn’t built yet. The stack mirrors Pip: React Native with Expo, an Express backend, PostgreSQL through Prisma, Clerk for the pairing. The mascot (a cat named Mochi) is a static image until the Rive work happens.
